In The Showroom: Stickley-Brandt And Robert Mitchell Furniture - 1906

I enjoy running across photographs of period furniture new in the showroom and here is one from April, 1906. I recognize a mix of manufacturers in this photo. The front-left chair is a Robert Mitchell "Roman Arm Chair" and the pair of chairs in the center are probably Stickley-Brandt. You can see the intermingling of late Renaissance Revival with the recently-emerged Mission style furniture.

The photo is of a showroom for H.B. Graves of Rochester, NY and is from the Grand Rapids Furniture Record and Journal.

    Nice one John! These old photographs are so important in understanding and documenting furniture. Here's a link to a nice Berkey and Gay showroom stereo view. While it's almost the same as the the one in Witherells book, its taken at a different time and some furniture is different.     A great picture! I have the rocker in front row, 2nd from left, and have been looking for info on it. It has a partial sticker on bottom that I thought read Stickley-Brandt... this confirms it! What do you think it's worth?
