Upcoming auction for a Rosewood pierced and laminated etagere attributed to J & J Meeks offered by Fontaine's Auction Gallery. A very similar etagere is shown attributed to Meeks on p. 144 of American Furniture of the 19th Century by Eileen and Richard Dubrow, estimating it's value between $20,000 and $25,000. The auction will start at $12,000 and is estimated to close between $25,000 and $35,000.
