For Sale - Late Renaissance Revival Mahogany Console/Library Table
Offered for sale is this late 19th–Century Renaissance Revival Marble-Topped Carved Mahogany Console/Library Table, rectangular” black-veined marble top, over frieze with carved foliate decoration, supported on 3-D high-relief carved trestle vase, ends with cabochon, standing cherub herm between addorsed dolphins all surrounded with scrolling acanthus leaves, dolphin tail hung with fruit/leaf swags, arched across brace deeply carved with conforming cabochon and foliate volute scrolls, all on scroll feet with casters.
Dimensions: 33 ¾” h x 70 1/8”w x 29” d
Condition: Good, feet with some damage and losses, chip on back veneer, normal and distressing overall, good patination, old restoration to marble top
