I have much more to come, but here is the next installment of Elijah Galusha furniture photographs. This Galusha fireplace screen has been seen elsewhere in documentation of his work, but I wanted to capture more of the carving detail with these photographs. The trim around the edge of the firescreen is not a ripple/wave moulding that wouldn't be unusual for the period, but more of a rope pattern. A scallop shell decorates the top of the screen's crest.
