James, yes to the point of putting them at risk of legal issues for what is said.

Off Thread but yesterday i stumbled into this dealers site which has a blog attached, VERY provocative, hard hitting piece on Sotheby's/Christie's business practices.

Woodwright, yes, very possible if I have the source image of that quality/size. A lot of times I get what I get and can't do better.

In this case Michaan's sent me the large photos and I used them as is.

Now there is a tradeoff - larger images mean that the page loads for site visitors more slowly. Although it appears medium sized on the main page before you click it - it is just a resized version of the large one - the visitor has already downloaded all of it.

If I put 3,4,5 of them on the home page, people are looking at over 1mb just for the images to download when they first hit the home page.

Another option is for me to put a small one on the page that links to the big one. It just takes longer for when I create a post since I have to upload 2 images, link them... but I'm happy to do that when I have good source images.

Good feedback. I will try to do this when possible.

John, Nice the way the Meeks étagère blows up w/ 2 clicks to a large format that shows the details well - you can even see the grain of the Rosewood well. The credenza does not & most other posted photos don't enlarge nearly as well. Is it possible to post all photos to enlarge well like the étagère does?
