I should come up with some personal standards so as to stay consistent with how and where the "attributed" label is presented and how clearly it is done so. I notice someone has made an offer and questioned the attribution to Kilian. In reply, the seller claims "In February, Neal's Auction in New Orleans had the same table with a different top. It sold for $5500 with the Buyer's premium. It's Kilian. Rare Victorian dot com attributes it to Kilian." Upon careful reading of John's post it's clear to me he did not authenticate this piece, he simply stated "I was notified of this attributed Kilian Brothers table currently up for sale on Ebay."
