Video - Part III: Refinishing A Merklen Brothers "Shabby" Table

A quick update on the table's progress in this video. It is fully stripped and sanded and the quartersawn Oak shows in all it's bare glory. We select stain for the wood and paint for the griffins.     I tried the full screen version. It's much nicer to watch the larger version than the small screen. I couldn't get it to work in HD though - despite clicking on it and following the directions.

    great figure on that quartered oak top. It's gonna look great.

    An alternate way to get the High-Def full screen display is to: - just hit play on the small one on RV, above. this is only to get the controls enabled. - hover your mouse in the upper right and click "HD off" (to toggle it to on) - a blue "HD" symbol will show up in the middle of the screen, click it to go to the video at the Vimeo site - click the 4 directional arrows in the lower right - hit play Or go here here and just do the last 2 above.

    Saw the table with 8 coats of shellac on it today. WOW is this going to turn out gorgeous. Should be done by Friday.
