Hi,

I have a chair identical to the one depicted in the bottom, left of the 4 chair pictorial. The bottom of the seat is also as depicted. The numbers that I can make out are "086 or 980". depending on how one looks at it". There is no label on the bottom of the seat, but the "scratching"marks are the same type. This chair was in a house that was at least 100 years old and is a "family hand me down". Could it belong to this set? How many of these were made? It is a beautiful piece that decorates our foyer and we would love to find a cushion for the curved seat.

Thanks in advance for any historical information you can provide.

Best regards,
