Allen and Brother Music Cabinet being sold by Bob Courtney Auctions

Bob Courtney's Spring 2008 sale is underway and has many pieces up for sale that Rare Victorian readers would be itching to own. The cabinet to the right is part of the sale and is attributed to one of my favorite cabinetmakers - Allen and Brother from Philadelphia. You can peruse the full catalog here. Don't miss the pool table and the Besarel mirror. Masterpieces. Update: The auction is now past so the catalog link above will now show as empty. The cabinet link is viewable for 120 days past the sale close date. It sold for $7,000.
