Whew! So if you’ve been here before, you can see that things have changed, hopefully for the better. Yes, there are a few broken things that I couldn’t handle before the move and I’m working on them…
Hopefully you’ll see some improvements and additions:
- The overall site design has been revamped. I’m hoping it is a better site from an aesthetic standpoint for you.
- I hope the speed of the site will be improved for you. Rather than being with thousands of sites fed from the same server, Rare Victorian is now on a server with less than 5 others.
- I’ve added “Victorian Furniture News” which is a constantly updating list of news items relating to Victorian Furniture
- I’ve added the “Recent Comments” section so that you can see the very latest comments from other Rare Victorian readers
- I’ve added “Recent Victorian Forum Posts” which is a quick list of the very latest posts on VictorianForum.com. You can now see what is going on in the forum without leaving Rare Victorian.
- “Similar Posts” will provide a list of other archived posts that are related, many times the furniture style or maker will be the relationship.
If you find something awry, sit on it for a day or so as I work through some of the known problems. If it is still an issue by Tuesday, please let me know.

The site is much easier to navigate and, of course, it has lovely aesthetics. I find it a lot easier to use the comment feature as well.
