As many of you are familiar, Antique Trader is a weekly magazine covering the Antiques and Collectibles marketplace and that they make much of the same content available on their website as well. You may or may not be aware that the editor, Noah Fleisher, has an online blog here and that Rare Victorian was quickly featured in it this week. I've been reading Noah's blog postings and editorials (I subscribe to the print version) for some time now, and I've really enjoyed following them. He likes to push the right buttons of his readers from time to time to make things interesting. Yesterday, he mentioned the news that Ebay CEO Meg Whitman will be joining McCain as his national campaign co-chairperson after she retires from Ebay after 10 years at the helm.

Antique Searches Fixed

I haven't been using the Antique searches here on Rare Victorian ("Buy Antiques" link at the top of the page) in a long while and what I didn't know as a result is that most of them were broken. eBay changed the way the

No Reserve - Signed Alexander Roux Bed

You don't come across a signed, Rosewood Alexander Roux bed for $2k that often (current price with no reserve). It's not an overly grandiose bed in size or sophistication of design, but the carvings are exceptionally wel
