Neal Auction Company's Winter Estates auction is coming up this weekend and will include a nice selection of high-end Victorian Furniture including the Herter Brothers' attributed sofa above. It reminds me more of a Gustave Herter solo effort a la page 132 of the Herter Brothers book.
A few other tasty items that got my attention:

This is a nice American Rococo sheet music cabinet. This one is labeled, "C.D. Whitmore, Cor. Hayward Place and Washington St., Boston"

I like the look of these Gothic Revival Walnut slipper chairs. They seem to have been dipped in a touch of Rococo. Might be transitional pieces. If you're not used to seeing Jelliff Gothic furniture, they also have a
pair of Gothic chairs attributed to him in this sale.

Two of these Hunzinger chairs will be sold at the auction and recent results for these have been strong with one recently selling for $4,300. This one looks like it was upholstered by
Hanes.

This is a "wig dresser" due to the specialized compartments that it is comprised of. I'm particularly fond of the skirt and cresting profiles.
The full catalog is
online here, but if you use
this search it will isolate just the furniture and filter out the other categories. There's too much good furniture in the sale to detail here, including pieces by Belter, Meeks, Bembe & Kimbel and many more, so I recommend you use one of the links above and peruse the catalog at your leisure.
