Obviously the housing market must be different in Claysville, PA than here in the Philadelphia suburbs. I ran across this house in a newspaper article stating that it was for sale for $349,900. It has been extensively rehabbed with Subzero fridge, new plumbing and electric but still retains much of it’s historic charm: stained glass, marble floored office, windowed turret, original window glass, not to mention the four-car Gothic Revival carriage house with two bedroom apartment on the second floor. Were I living in the outskirts of Pittsburgh, I’d certainly have to take a look (not that I need a house…).
