I have to say, the reason I stumbled onto Victorian furniture is because I inherited my fathers bed (which he purchased in 1962, Pasadena, California). It's from the 1860's and I was trying to figure out who was the maker. After some initial research, I thought the bed was possibly attributed to Daniel Pabst, but was quickly told it was not by an antique dealer in Connecticut. My fathers bed is actually from Phoenix Furniture Company. South Hampton Antiques now has the same bed for sale on their website at: http://www.southamptonantiques.com/bd/bd-1154.html
