It’s not unusual to run into a Hunzinger lollipop chair but I haven’t run into a matched pair: armchair and rocker. As I write this, the set has been bid up to only $202, though I anticipate them reaching a much higher price as there is a reserve that has not been met. Apparently they have been refinished 20 years ago, and I cannot tell if they are oak or mahogany from the pictures (the description is sparse). I own a settee that looks like an exact match to this chair, but have been unable to find any references to a Hunzinger settee.
I would be interested to know if Hunzinger did indeed design a settee of this type.
