Merklin TableAlthough the lister named the photograph "hunz.jpg", a reference to George Hunzinger, I believe they got it right when they listed it as a Merklen. Both Hunzinger and Merklin favored the twisted legs and the brass ball and claw feet. I have yet to find a definitive reference on Hunzinger work and I believe that's why you'll see many tables of this design listed as a "Hunzinger or Merklin" at the same time because very few people know how to distinguish the two - myself included. This table appears to be in beautiful condition and is offered at "Buy-it-now" for $1,995 here. Shipping is $135 for anywhere in the 48 states. Another Merklin/Hunzinger table can be found here.
